Waterway Hills Golf Club, one of only two Robert Trent Jones designs on the Grand Strand along with The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, officially ceased operations on June 24, 2015. It had been purchased earlier in the year by LStar Management, owner of the neighboring Grande Dunes residential development.
