One of the many advantages of the Swagelok two-ferrule fitting design is the ability to re-use the body without leaks. If you have made changes in the system design, by moving a fitting to a new location or changing the tubing, you can’t re-use the nuts and ferrules, but you can still re-use the fitting bodies.

Are gaskets reusable?
Reusing a gasket is not advised as the saturation and absorbancy condition can vary. A gasket should be assembled, then exposed to heat and fluid. A used gasket already having swelling due to the fluids should not be reused.
Are exhaust gaskets reusable?
As long as it is not rusting out and still provides a good seal it is OK to reuse the gasket. Thanks, a dollar saved will be applied elsewhere. I’ve reused mine 10x or better. And I’m turbo now, so the exhaust sees a lot of back pressure.
