- Pour ONE 6-ounce bottle of SUPREP® liquid into the mixing container.
- Add cool water to the 16 oz.
- Drink ALL the liquid in the container.
- Drink two more 16-ounce glasses of water over the next hour (one hour).
- You may continue to drink clear liquids until midnight.
What are the side effects of Clenpiq?
Frequent, very watery bowel movements at any time should occur after you drink this product. Nausea, vomiting, bloating, headache, or stomach/abdominal cramps may also occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
What does Clenpiq look like?
CLENPIQ (sodium picosulfate, magnesium oxide, and anhydrous citric acid) oral solution is a stimulant and osmotic laxative that is provided as a cranberry-flavored, colorless to slightly yellow, clear oral solution, and is supplied as two bottles in each carton.
How fast should you drink Clenpiq?
Drink one bottle of CLENPIQ, then drink one cup (8-ounces each) of clear liquid, every 15 minutes for at least four cups. You may continue to drink clear liquids up to 3 hours before your exam.
Do I have to drink the second bottle of SuPrep?
Six hours prior to your arrival for your procedure, begin drinking the second dose of SuPrep. Drink ALL the liquid in the container and you MUST drink 2 more 16 ounce containers of water within one hour. The solution must be completely finished four hours prior to arrival to facility.
