Why is Louvre Abu Dhabi important?

The centrepiece of Nouvel’s vision is a huge silvery dome that appears to float above the museum-city.
Can I bring water into the Louvre?
Assuming that you will be inside the Louvre for at least a couple of hours, I would suggest bringing a small snack and a bottle of water. Photos are allowed in the Louvre, so be sure to bring your camera. I hate to always bring this up but anytime you are in a tourist area there are going to be pickpockets.

How long do you need in Louvre?
Plan to spend at least two hours in the museum to see the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace, and a few pieces in between. If you plan to stay longer, there are six restaurants, cafes, and counters where you can grab a bite in the museum.

Tickets to the Louvre Abu Dhabi cost 60 AED. Children between the ages of 13 and 22, as well as students studying at a UAE educational institution, receive half-price tickets. Furthermore, children under the age of 13 can enter for free. If you are disabled, you and one companion can also enter for free.
