Why is my 16+ Oyster not working?
If your Oyster photocard doesn’t work when you touch it on a yellow card reader, it may be faulty. We may ask you to send us the Oyster photocard to confirm that it’s faulty. Sometimes, your Oyster photocard might not work because you have a negative pay as you go balance. To travel again, you’ll need to top it up.
How do I renew my child’s Oyster card?
You will need your child’s Zip Oyster photocard or Application reference number to apply for a replacement online. If you previously applied for your child’s photocard online, use your web account to apply for a replacement. If you need help, call us on 0343 222 1234 (08:00-20:00, 7 days a week).
Can I get money back from my Oyster card?
At a Tube station ticket machine, you can get a refund of up to £10 pay as you go credit and your deposit. Simply touch your Oyster card on the yellow card reader on the ticket machine, select ‘Oyster refund’ and follow the on-screen instructions. Refunds are paid back in cash dispensed from the ticket machine.
Can you cash in an Oyster card?

How long does it take for 16 oyster to come?

How do I activate my Zip Oyster card?
To activate your Auto top-up instruction, as part of a journey, touch your Oyster card on a yellow card reader on any London Bus or at any Tube, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail or National Rail station within the pay as you go area, tram stop or River Bus pier after 30 minutes of making your order.
How much is an Oyster card for a child?
The child-rate single fare with an 11-15 Zip Oyster is 85p (peak) or 75p (off-peak) for zones 1-6. Like the ordinary adult Oyster card, there’s a daily cap – the maximum amount deducted from the card in one day.
