Made in Mexico, the EVH Striped Wolfgang Special features a couple of upgrades, including a custom hand-painted body, quarter-sawn neck with ebony fretboard, a zero-friction volume and a heavy-friction tone control, two Wolfgang pickups and an EVH Floyd Rose bridge with D-Tuna.
What is the difference between a Wolfgang standard and special?
The Special has a neck made out of quartersawn maple. The Special also has a D-Tuna installed on the Floyd Rose system so you can flip it down to Drop D tuning quickly. The pickups in the Special are also direct mounted.
