Do pendulum cards go in the main deck?
When a Pendulum Monster would be sent from the field to the Graveyard, either as a Monster Card or Spell Card, it is placed face-up in the Extra Deck Zone instead. If a Pendulum Monster is sent from the hand or Deck to the Graveyard, or if they are detached, they go into the Graveyard like normal.
How many times can you pendulum summon?
You can declare a Pendulum Summon once per turn during one of your Main Phases, much like how you can Normal Summon or Set a monster once per turn during one of your Main Phases.

Are pendulum cards good?
Pendulum monsters, on their own, have been lackluster so far. Like early Tuner Monsters these cards are nearly worthless unless they’re being used to as part of a Pendulum Summon. You can at least put Odd-Eyes into a Pendulum Zone to search out another card, but you can’t say the same about other Pendulum Monsters.

Can you pendulum summon from the extra deck?
Face-up Pendulum Monsters in the Extra Deck can be Pendulum Summoned, provided they are properly summoned by their mechanics from face-down first, but they can no longer be Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Summoned, or Special Summoned by an effect that is treated as such summons.
