Your Patriot Pass credentials, consisting of your assigned NetID and a password you create, allow you to access a variety of Mason online systems. You should create strong passwords that make it difficult for cybercriminals to gain access to your account.

Instructions
- Go to password.gmu.edu.
- On the home page screen, select Activate Account.
- Enter your G Number and Claim Code, then select Continue.
- Select Start Account Setup.
- Enter your contact information, then select Save and Continue.
- Enter your security questions and answers, then select Save and Continue.

A Mason NetID and password are required to log in. Password information is available at Strong Password. This service is available 24/7, excluding planned outages, normal maintenance windows, and unavoidable events. Maintenance windows are Sundays from 7 to 11 a.m. but may be extended to 2 p.m., if needed.

When these bills are created an email will be sent to the student’s Masonlive email account, and to any authorized users who are set up to receive this information. Students have the ability to set up authorized users. Authorized users will only access the Bill and Payment system, and can view account charges and financial data.
