What is gel Bonder used for?
Gel Bonder is a strong adhesion gel that increases the adhesion of our gel builder to the bonder base layer by up to 50%. Gel Bonder can also be used to adhere nail art items to your enhancement such as diamonds or other 3D nail art pieces.
Do you need a gel Bonder?
bonder is used as a primer. its needed for the acrylic or builder gel to adhere to your natural nails. if you don’t apply bonder the builder gel or acrylic will detach in less than 2 days. you don’t need this brand specifically.
Does gel Bonder cure?
IBD Gel Bonder requires you to have a UV or Led lamp to cure. Now, there are other brands of nail bonders that don’t require a UV or Led Lamp to cure. But in my experience, the bonders that work the best with gel polish are the ones that need curing.

We separate the two because 1) Both products promote adhesion differently 2) Primers and bonders are not interchangeable. Acrylics for example almost always require a primer, a bonder shouldn’t be used as an alternative. Primer (whether acid or not) serve one primary purpose: Preparing the nail bed for acrylics.
