Based on the original PlayStation 3 HD remaster from 2012, Okami HD borrows the ability to set the game to widescreen, which is definitely the best way to play the game. You can still play the game at 1080p. Even then, the game is a complete marvel to look at.

I’ve played the Wii, PS3 and Switch versions. I loved the Wii more than everyone else apparently because the motion controls are so much more natural than trying to draw with a stick. So I recommend Switch version for the HD remaster, better motion controls, and the ability to draw on the touch screen in handheld mode.
