Is BetterTTV allowed on Twitch?
In the settings menu, enable both “BetterTTV Emote” and “BetterTTV GIF Emotes”. This will allow you to see both static, but also the GIF animated emotes, in the Twitch chat.
Why can’t I see BetterTTV emotes?
As long as the BetterTTV Emotes setting is toggled on, you should be able to see BTTV emotes in chat. BTTV emotes don’t show up in the Twitch emote menu, you should be able to use them by typing the emote name in chat, or you can enable the BTTV Emote Menu in settings.

BTTV has GIF emotes while FFZ does not. BTTV has more features than FFZ. BTTV allows you to see FFZ emotes when the extension is installed, you can not see BTTV emotes as an FFZ user (unless you also have BTTV installed)
